    Hello.
Problem is simple: on ASUS V6J backlight don't function at all. After opening it and comparing with V6X internals, it became clear that inverter board not functioning.
As there are no large chance to find now original board in Russia, I'd like to replace V6J inverter board with V6X' board.
Can I make this replacement without risk of fire or blast? :)
I've found old 2008 year thread about V6J ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/221727-asus-v6j-lcd-backlight-switch-problem.html), but there are no information about it.

    Thanks in advance.

Update: I've risked and replaced this module. Nothing changed: backlight still inactive. Next I replaced LCD itself - with no effect, though.

    Any suggestions?
