We do, but really that's just up there for people trying to get some ram with a notebook...... i don't know how our prices on that compare because it's only updated every time we get a new shipment of ram which is about once every 3-4 weeks. You can pick it up any of a dozen places.

gizbug, I suggest you go over to newegg.com and pick up a stick, since you're in the US.

From what I've read they have great return policies and are very fast in shipping and support. Great prices too.

    Cheers,
    Mike

    Does the V6J ship with a single 1GB stick? It's more common to see 2 x 512MB.

I am very interested in the V6j but I want a video card like the x1600 256MB in it. What's the liklihood of that ever happening?

Yup - one of the coolest things I've found about Asus. Makes life so much better for the consumer (vs. what Dell and the like would do in the name of $).

Are you talking about RAM manufacturers gizbug or just "options" in general? If the later, ProP speaks the truth (shocker / sarcasm)...

Has anyone upgraded from 1 gig to 2 gig? Have you noticed any benefits? I've heard there is little performance increasefrom 1gig to 2gig?

Also, any suggestions on what to buy on newegg? Links possibly?

It depends on what games you play. BF2 pretty much requires 2 gigs, especially for max settings. Other games are the same way. With 2 gigs you're likely to never "run out" of RAM.
