    Hi,

I have problem with my LCD (ASUS V6Va), when I opet the lid, some weard is going on. Red horizontal lines appears on the screen. When I move screen a little bit, they disappear. I notice that sometimes light on screen is something like blinking but just a little bit, like soft disappearing os power but it's frustrating as the light is not stable. What that can be and how many could cost the repair?
    Thanks lot!

The red lines, I think they are because your LCD cable (signal/coax/LVDS cable) is fraying, most likely in your hinge.

The blinking on the other hand, can either be because of the above, or more likely due to the inverter board or inverter cable.

    All these replacements are cheap:

You could get the cable set here: http://estore.asus.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=2925 (not sure it contains the LVDS cable, you would need to ask) and perhaps the inverter here: http://estore.asus.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1193&catid=338 but it's for the V6, I couldn't find one specifically listed for the V6Va. Again you need to call the eStore and ask.

Thanks man, I appreciate for help!
I have one more question, I've been trying to order here but it asks me for some PROMOTION code? What's this?
    Tnx!

Promotion codes should be optional. If you don't enter anything, does it complain?

Before ordering, please call the eStore to make sure these parts indeed contain the required cables and fit your particular submodel!

I'm from Europe, and they're sending only for US ...
I'm going to find some other solution.

Aha. Have a look at theFAQ of the ASUS Info Booth for how to obtain parts in Europe. I would particularly direct you to asusparts.eu.
