I was installing drivers from the ASUS website and I couldn't figure out what ASUS VirtualCamera is for. The useless blurb from ASUS about it is:
With some quick testing, I figured out that it allows more than one application to access the webcam simultaneously. Normally only one application can control the webcam but if you install Virtual Camera, you can have, for example, Skype and a flash-based application use the webcam at the sametime. I am assuming up to 4 applications can use the webcam simultaneously.. at least that's what I'm getting from the ASUS blurb.
Here's a screenshot of how to use it. Make sure both applications are using ASUS Virtual Camera.

If you remove the checkmark beside your webcam from the Virtual Camera system tray icon, you will disable the ASUS Virtual Camera capability. In the screenshot below, I had another application using the webcam so this webapp using Flash indicated it access was not allowed.

I also installed Net4Switch (ASUS IP Switch Utility) to see what it does, it appears to be used for maintaining connections when you are connected to the Internet and swapping between network adapters. eg. Going from ethernet to wireless. I do not know what the use-case for this application would be. Below is a useless screenshot of this useless program.
I installed ATK Media Utility as well and it doesn't seem to do anything useful either. Does anyone know what it's for?
ASUS Virtual Camera, I know what it does!!!
