    Hi
    I'm italian. I have bought a W1978GCLP in Germany.
The DVB and the analogic TV don't work.
    I don't receive ANYTHING.
In the setting of MOBILE THEATER i don't see "ANTENNA" to choose, but only CABLE (i had a W1972UP and i remember i was able to choose ANTENNA)
Is it possible to use only CABLE TV? no FREE to air TV?

I have seen the features of the TV TUNER CARD, the LIFEVIEW TV DUO MINI:
-Free-to-Air digital terrestrial TV and radio program receiving
    - Analogue TV receiving from cable/air TV
    - Fully supports worldwide TV standard

I have tried with the little antenna of ASUS and with the antenna of my house... nothing
already tried to format, re installing everything...
I tried to use the old versione of MOBILE THEATER (the versione in my old notebook).. with that version i can see the analogic TV.. but nothing DVB

    can u help me?

Hey, I might be the only one in the states that has a tv tuner in their w1n..... I don't have the digital tuner yet. but this should all be the same.

You need cable...... it will NOT pull over the air stations... atleast the analog card wouldn't... I'd like to see it if they got it to work with the digital card...

Thats weird..... I wish I had the digital card to try to help you out better.

    Thanks,
    Justin

i knew there were going to be problems when they announced that digital and analog tuner..... I think it most likely is the software.... asus has been revamping that home theater software of theirs for the last year and half and I think in that time they've made it like 30-40 revisions.... every little bug they fix and put out and update (which you can download)...... if it is the software, letting Asus know is the best way to fix it because I bet if you tell them, in a couple weeks that problem will be addressed and fixed. For stuff like this they certainly do listen to every customer and they put their people on top of it...

    Thanks,
    Justin
