This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Someone posted the link in notebookforums.com... The person also took note of something interesting:
    "The thing I notice about the review is that they have a X600 64MB while the reseller, starpcs, has a X700 128MB."

    Ah, I really hope the W1 refresh looks something like this (black brushed steel look).

    I'm getting either the W1 refresh or the Ferrari 4000, probably which ever comes out first.

    Asus hasn't even ordered the W2's yet...... but when they do they have assured us they are ordering 128mb x700.

    I've got to admit. That design's by far one of the most appealing (for a PC notebook) I've ever seen.

    Any word on what bluetooth version will be supported (1.1, 1.2, or 2.0)? Also, would one be able to order it w/o the TV tuner (not that I'd mind, but I doubt I'd ever really make use of it)?

    Asus should have them ashore by months end..... everything has been confirmed at this point except for the exact optical drive.
