Hey, havne't ever posted or anyhting and i recently purcahsed a W2v for a good deal and its the most beautiful thing i've ever seen. Build is touch notch and the looks are stunning. Eitherway, I've updated most of the drivers n stuff and i was wondering if people have been running into issues on certain routers? Again i've updated to the new driver wifi driver and works great at my house, and work, but there are couple places where i've had trouble with d-link routers in particular. For example, i have a netgear router at home and it connects with my w2 fine. At work we have a belkin, and i connect fine. But at my buddies house, he has a d-link and i have trouble getting a steady connection. I know its not his lan in general since i have my old notebook and he has his and they both read excellent as far as the conection strength goes, but my W2 always reads low if i'm lucky. I've also noticed it at my other buddies apt (he has a d-link also) Anyone face this problem? JUst wondering, if you have and if you have any opinions to make it work? Thanks in advance

D-link routers are notorious for just that. i had that issue with Dlink with a laptop and i couldnt get 2 different Axim PDAs to connect to it. I have even had the issue where the laptop would connect to one linksys but not another identical one with identical firmware. That was with an atheros card. Wirelss routers and cards just act F--ed up sometimes. Its really not the laptop though so nothing you can do i have yet to figure out some wireles issues like that. And ive very tech savy. But personaly i would say avoid Dlink routers alltogether to many issues. Linksys are prob the most reliable with compatibility.
