So, I recently purchased this laptop, and one of my main concerns were the viewing angles. There seemed to be a concensus that they weren't that great.

Well, my laptop arrived today (purchased from BTOTech, they are amazing) and the viewing angles are superb. I can't see how anyone could have any complaints about them.

Is this a new thing with the new W3J's as in maybe they changed LCD's or what?

I think the main complaing re: 14 inch models are the vertical viewing angles, not the horizontal angles.

Something like : If you have someone standing while you're sitting and trying to show them something, that's when the viewing angles issue will come to fore.
