    Hi

I installed vista on my W3J but I have a few problems:

-The side buttons don't work. I downloaded the ATK from ASUS' website (ATK_Vista32_070313.zip). Not sure if this matters, but I installed the ATK AFTER I installed P4G, Splendid, etc.. Another thing is, when I open Task manager, I do NOT see Hcontrol.exe. Can anyone tell me where ATK installs to so I can check if it properly installed?

-My second problem isn't that big of a deal, but while the Function buttons (Fn) works for activating/deactivating WLAN, Brightness, and screen on off, it does not work for sound (mute, louder, quieter)

-My third problem has been with me since XP, and that is the Bluetooth and Wireless LAN LED's near the battery never lights up. I know this is not a big thing, but when I travel, I need to know whether my laptop is wasting energy on WiFi and Bluetooth, and having the LED's light up is just convenient (not to mention spiffy looking)

    Hey there!

Have you tried the drivers that are stickied in this forum?

As well, for the LEDs, that's a tough one. Have you reformatted a few times when you were on XP?

Yes, yes, yes!!! All the ATK drivers plus the wireless console must be installed to enjoy the full functionality. I just installed and all of the buttons work just like they are intended to.
