    Hi,

I am looking at the ASUS W7 series. I would rather get the cheaper W7S-A1B, but i'm worried the 1GB of RAM won't be enough for running Vista. Has anyone found this to be the case?

Vista runs fine on 1GB (that's what I have on my desktop system). That having been said, it'd probably be a good idea to upgrade to 1.5GB (what I have on my W7S) or 2.5GB. RAM is pretty cheap these days anyway.

I also have no problems running vista (although I've got the B1B with 1.5GB of RAM). After doing a clean install of vista I got it to use around 600MB of RAM, which would leave you with another 400MB free.
