I have a ASUS Q551LN which came with Windows 8.1.

I have 2 questions about upgrading to Windows 10:

    1. Windows 10 update worked fine on my 8.1 PC - hardware, programs working. Has anyone upgraded their ASUS laptop and got everything working? ASUS drivers, fliplock, utilities etc all working on 10?

    2. I'm guessing once I upgrade to Windows 10 and keep it for a month, I won't be able to go back to Win 8.1. Suppose I need to reset/format the whole laptop, will I be able to get the embedded key to work and get back to 8.1?

    1. Some have and some have not, it depends on the model and exact configuration.

    2. Yes if you fresh install it back on.
