Why does the 14" and 15" A and N series being offered with stronger GPUs than the respective 17" versions?

I really like the specs on the N43SN.

I'm wondering about it's pricing. Rumor has it at about $450. If it performs only slightly below the 1215n Asus will have a real winner on their hands.

The only thing, though, is that the 1215b isn't all that special, if that makes sense. The 1215n, 1201n, and so on were essentially premium, high-power netbooks. I don't think many (any?) other companies made use of dual-core atoms, much less ION2.

But as it stands, the 1215b will compete against that one HP netbook, and I don't even know about other companies.

What I'm really curious about is what the Brazos equivalent of the 1215n will be.

Personally, I'm debating if I should replace my UL30VT with the U36JC. If only it had an optical drive it would be my ideal laptop :)

When will the 1215b probably come out? February?
