    Hello everyone. I would like to ask for help in a frustrating problem regarding the wireless connection of my newly bought laptop (that's what makes it so frustrating).
    I apologise if this or a similar post was arleady brought up.
    It will be a bit difficult to explain because this problem does not have a "stable" pattern.
    Long story short : my wifi randomly stops working with no apparent reason or cause.
    Long story long :
    -After booting my laptop it takes a while since it can connect to a wireless network. It either says connecter BUT limited, either connected...in none of those cases it works(with any browser). IF I'm lucky it will start working after a short period of time (a couple of minutes). The time it stays up an running is not certain..it can be 1 min, it can be a couple of hours;
    -internet works fine with the ethernet cable plugged into the laptop;
    -while my laptop's wifi is not working. the other devices connected to the same router are working fine.
    Things I've tried:
    -unistalling and reinstalling drivers;
    -playing with battery saving options (setting it on "Maximum performance" and unchecking the "allow computer to turn down this device to save power");
    -restarting my router;
    -restarting my laptop;
    -changing my router channels in case of interferences;
    -unplugging my wireless mouse in case the frequency overlaps;
    -put TCP/IPv4 (or something like that) on Obtain ip adress automatically;
    -install an antivirus and do a quick scan.

    I literally can't remember all the rest of the things i've tried, and combinations of them.
    EXTRA INFO:
    -I'm running windows 8.1 64bit
    [IMG]
    -My network adapters are:
    [IMG]
    -my ipconfig info is
    Now, I'm pretty certain that the problem is on my laptop's end because I tried different routers.

    Any ideeas on how to solve this problem?

    I'd talk to your reseller, the cables may not be quite fitted properly to the network card or the card itself may be faulty.

    Yea...i tried anything possible on the software side. It stopped working alltogether eventually.
    So if everything soft-related was ruled out, it had to be mechanical. Plus, the internet was working wuth an external wi fi adapter or with a cable.
    I was still under 30 days, so i was able to ask for a replacement. Thats how i solved it.

    If you registered your product to asus reliability within 15 days from the date u bought it, and if u are over 30 days since u have the problem(which you are) you should be able to get your laptop fixed for free + your money back.
