    ASUS X5EAE anyone?

    It's like pulling teeth finding info on this computer. There seem to be three models, which differ only by processor, the cheapest of which is the ASUS X5EAE-SX047V.

    Nearest I can tell it has:
    3GB RAM / 320 GB HD
    Athlon II 2.1 GHz
    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200
    2 year warranty
    1.3mp web camera
    card reader (SD, MMC, MS)
    DVD rewritable
    2.8kg
    WIFI b/g/n
    4x USB
    no Expresscard
    no BlueTooth

    Cannot find this unit on the ASUS UK site, though it is sold in the UK.

    Any further info, reviews or recommendations? Am looking for something under €500 for my daughter.

    Wow, no responses in nine days. Well, I bought this unit and have now set it up and provided a review of basic features over on The Theatre Of Noise.

    In fact, I think it's the first review on the internet. Hope it helps others. Bottom line? Great unit for its class.
