    This laptop has 8GB ram and can extend to 12GB (specifications).

    My questions is: how many ram's slot it has? (If I decide to extend the ram, should I buy 8GB ram and exchange it with the 4GB exist or I can buy 4GB and assemble it in the unused slot)

    There is 4GB soldered on the motherboard. You would need to buy 8GB and replace the 4GB.

    Look at your soldered ram in cpu-z and match the speed and timings for the extra stick.
