    Dear all,
I've been trying to pinpoint an issue with the touchpad of an ASUS Zenbook UX32VD-DH71 (to be most precise :)). Installing the ASUS Smart Gesture program gets it to work as expected, including multi-touch. However after having it shut down over night and starting it back up in the morning usually stops the touchpad from working. The same for moving it from home to work or back. This problem can always be fixed temporarily by reinstalling the driver after which it works over multiple immediate reboots. However then again, leaving it off for some time breaks it again.

When it does NOT work after booting, it is completly hidden in the device manager. After showing hidden devices, I get:

    The problem being

Going with Windows' default driver exposes the same issue. It works just after uninstalling any other drivers and rebooting, but even then, after leaving it turned off for a few hours, booting it back up returns with a non-working touchpad.

Anyone have any hints or ideas what may be wrong? I am an experienced programmer and am willing to try anything of any difficulty. Just tell me where to poke! :)
Thanks so much in advance, this is really bugging me!

I have the same model. One day my touchpad just stopped working after a morning, I can't get it to work anymore. I've tried many solutions but they didn't work for me. Now i've been using a mouse all along. Any more methods that I can try?
