I heard 10" netbooks involve too much scrolling. Anyone with personal experience on an 11.6"? Is the scrolling problem any better on an 11.6" screen?

Also, the processor is an Intel Core i5-2467M 1.6GHz (2 cores/4 threads). I am originally looking for an actual quad-core but the prices are too high. I realize the hyperthreading on this i5 dual core is what makes it fast, but still undecided. Please, any input is appreciated. Thank you very much :)

Sounds like you're looking to purchase a new computer? I would post this in the "What notebook should I buy" forum. Fill out the form, and tell everyone what your goals and budget are, that way we can better help you find a solution.

I currently own a 11.6" Asus U24E-XH71. My previous laptop had a 15.4" display and weighed over 6lbs. At first it was strange getting use to the keyboard and display size difference. But after daily use, it became more normal. Now typing, scrolling, reading, and general computing is simple and easy. Display sizes, resolutions, and quality are an important things to consider. It all depends on your goals and budget, its very subjective too as some users won't tolerate what others can and vice versa.

Personally I wanted a lighter, smaller, and longer lasting computer that was more efficient than my last. This Asus has worked out great so far. The addition of an SSD is always recommended as it speeds everything up.

I don't find myself scrolling anymore than I did when I had the 15.4" display.
