This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hope this isn't a repost, I found this recently, didn't bother to do a serach yet, its 4am, I'll do it tomorow :p

    As the WGT's sponsor for the gaming tournament, ASUS and WGT(World Game Master Tournament) are holding a contest for users to create a Flash animation highlighting ASUS's gaming hardware.

    The animation is simple, the topics are:

    ● Build a gaming powerhouse with ASUS components.
    ● Anywhere gaming with ASUS A6J notebook.
    ● From dreams to reality with ASUS solutions.

    The Rules are:

    ● Must follow PC platform rules (Win32, Linux or Java entry)
    ● Maximum length is 30 seconds
    ● Maximum resolution is 640x480x32b
    ● Maximum size is 3MB
    ● Must display the ASUS & WGT logo
    ● Must display ASUS product and show their benefits
    ● Feel free to include any text and audio

    The animation must be submitted by September 30, 2006, the Winners are to be announced on October 31st 2006.

    Now, the prizes:

    World Flash Champion:
    ● ASUS S6 Leather Collection notebook
    ● 1-year contract as ASUS' web design partner
    ● Flash animation will be displayed on WGT official website and ASUS company home pages


    5 Honorable Mentions:
