    Guys i have repair here

    ASUS EeePC 900

    The customer wants to reformat her unit because
    have a lot of viruses...
    now my problem is the camera-no function..
    i tried the uplication yahoo messenger but still no cam detected
    on the device ,manager there is one yellow questionmark
    which is unkown device..
    details Device Instance id is ACPI\ASUS010\1010100

    can anybody here to solve this problem...
    its been my problem since yesterday...ahhhyaaa!!!!

    Find the driver for the camera, install it.

    Then install the software.

    Maybe it has a recovery partition? if it does, you could just restore with it.

    Actually, no. Not even. most of the asus webcams are provided by multiple third party vendors. for this laptop alone(my G51VX-X1A) there are I believe 5 possible vendors, and they require you to check your hardware IDs in device manager to find the correct driver.
