My computer has been working great. but one day i start up my computer it goes to the desktop fine but once i click any program the screen freezes.

I restart the computer, the same thing happens over and over again. I have already drained power several times done last known good configuration. and i Really have no idea how to fix it.

I wouldn't mind system recovery my computer.

I have RAID which i think amkes two partitions as all of my documents are on the D drive. How do i do system recovery though? I do not have any disks with me as i am in a different country from home.

Have you tried safe mode to see if there is a specific driver or program that is causing you problems, because it sounds like the basic OS is working okay.

With RAID, you definitely need the restore discs. Putting it into RAID destroys the hidden restore partition. I once tried putting the partition back and it restored just fine, but it kept blue-screening on bootup.
