    ASUS g51 - Touchpad just died

    Any tips or useful advice?

    Was just laying down watching a movie and tried to pause it and the touchpad doesn't work anymore.

    just a quick check, did you turn it off by the touch button next to the power button by any chance?

    That happens to me sometimes, turn the touchpad off then on again (with the touch button next to the running man), should fix the problem :)

    Sure would be nice if ASUS included a list of what those buttons do instead of us having to learn by trial and error!

    BTW, what's the button to the left of the running man do?

    See if from the CPANEL the touchpad is not disabled.

    asus splended, basically some colour scheme configuration.

    Doesn't work if you've uninstalled splended though, but i really don't think you're missing out on much by not having that
