I was just browsing online and I came across Costco's website and I couldn't help but notice that have ASUS laptops now. They do offer a couple models, and are decently configured, but maybe not as good as some that resellers on the board have. Afterall, Costco has their 90 day return policy, so if you don't like it you can just bring it in to any Costco warehouse and they'll give you a full refund, including shipping.

    Heres a link

That's excellent for Asus, wider distribution ftw!

Too bad as Asus fans we lose a little bit of the "obscurity" factor of our favorite brand.

Unfortunately not available in Canada, as I would have surely ordered from them. The return policy at Costco is second to none.

Hopefully we'll see Costco Canada pick up some Asus models.

All of the laptops seem to be a just about the same or higher than resellers here. but then again I guess you're paying for the extension on the warranty and their return policy? It would be nice if they had it in store so I can finally check out a couple ASUS models so maybe I can finally make up my mind on buying one.

About the obscurity factor, I doubt most people who shops for a laptop at Costco would go for the ASUS because there are cheaper alternatives out there and they won't go for something they haven't really heard of. I'd guess that most of them would just go for a HP or Dell since they hear about them all the time and know others that has one.
