I've owned a UL80Vt for the last 1.5 years. It's been the best laptop I've ever owned but after using it very extensively it's started to show its age in the last several months and I'm looking to upgrade.

I just got a 14" Lenovo T420. It's got a Sandy Bridge i5 (2410) and an awesome screen resolution (1600x900). But I'm HATING the keyboard layout and the trackpad. I got super spoiled by the awesome Asus keyboard.

Are there any confirmed/rumored Asus models upcoming with Sandy Bridge CPU's and a resolution higher than the standard 1366x768? I'd consider flipping this Thinkad on Craigslist and waiting for a new Asus.

Depends on what size you want. The N53SV XV1 has a full HD screen, but it's a 15.6" and the keyboard isn't that great.
