Am I the only one who has constantly been pronouncing it Ae - Suhs?

When phoning them I noticed the voice guy pronounces it Ae - Seus.

weird...when I go to computer stores I hear salesman pronounce it like I do as well.

Yup, I'm with Brian. "Ae - Suhs" sounds too east coast - which just can't be good. ;)

I've heard from a few people the "proper" pronunciation is "Ah-soos", but I tend to prefer "Ae-sus" myself.

Someone mind calling ASUS and when they answer, be like, "I just wanted to know how you really pronounce the name!"

They will be like "We don't care as long as you buy from us"... :D

By the way, Brian's way is the right way pronounced in Taiwan, even though I always pronounce A-sus. The thing is pronouncing A-sus is very similar to pronounce Acer, once you add in the Taiwanese accent, so they go with A-soos. Of course, people in Taiwan all call Asus and Acer their respective Chinese name, so this is kind of pointless.

.... well considering they are all Twainese and have an accent - it's unfair to ask them how they pronounce it because it sounds differently depending on who you even ask over there......

No, I mean the TV commercial in Taiwan and my friends that work for Asus pronounce them A-soos. The regular Joes, like I said, won't bother with the English name.

In taiwan, some people call ASUS "ah-soo-soo", with an asian accent.
