ASUS rebates being recieved (9/19 starting?)

Note: This promotion was between July 21st 2005 and July 31st 2005, and unfortunately, it has been long over.

For those who have sent in their $200 off ASUS W3v and the $300 off ASUS W1n, there will be a slight delay with the cheques, it was stated 6-8 weeks for the rebate after the promotion ends, and with alot of ASUS Fremont staff on vacation, well....wait a bit more?

Also, thanks to Justin again for the info!

So, be patient, wait til the cheque comes(It will be within a few weeks, Mid September I would guess), and then SPEND SPEND SPEND!

6 weeks from when it ended is when they were going to start processing them (to make sure they were all receieved). I talked to them the other day and they said they were slowly getting through them, but you can call up and have them look up your name to see if it was sent out or at least to make sure they got rebate form.

 

I sent in mine around the 20th of July (from the early July promotion). I sent then an email today asking about it and I got an answer within 1 hour telling me that they finished processing my rebate on Monday. Just to give you an idea about their status and the excellent response time to my question from asus.

Got my W3v $200 rebate today (Sept 22).

-I never got a reply from asus about the 3rd year warranty, though. Come to think of it I've never gotten any reply email from asus.

Sorry Ihaven't been around but I'm trying to wrap up the on the road work and we have been very busy. Getting back to the thread I received my rebate this week, I think on Wednesday.

Wow. decided to go ahead and check my mail first before I gave asus a call on friday. It was in there.

 

Got my $200 rebate on AGear customized W3V-S today!

 

Got my $200 W3V rebate last week.

We're supposed to get some correspondence on the third year warranty? I registered for it, but I didn't know I should be expecting something from Asus about it.

 

I got my $200 W3V rebate last week also (last week of September). Its nice to see a company backing up their warantee claim, unlike others which I still havent recieved =(

 

It's not a warranty.... but a rebate... but I think all companies really do them, but sending things out US mail isn't always reliable and I think a computer probably pumps out a lot of bigger companies rebate checks..... Asus has their accountant do all of them..... that's one reason it took a long time. Setting up rebates involves a lot.

 

Almost a month, everyone should of recieved their rebates.
