Just showing my appreciation for ASUS :D. A month later my g51 is still rocking out with it's caulking out! My first laptop ever and I'm sooooo glad I got an Asus with it's kick performance. All I'm waiting for now is my warranty to die so I can upgrade the processor.

I was about to buy HDX16, then HP delayed my computer so I canceled. Then I tried lenovo and it was theeeeeeeee BIGGEST nightmare EVER. The company's customer service is a JOKE! I'd rather they just kicked me in the balls instead of making me wait close to two freaking MONTHS and it took them a month to cancel my order AND AND they charged me for two laptops instead of one. I'm so glad I didn't settle for a third class laptop.

ASUS definitely has a new loyal customer  .

You are not alone, I love my laptop and so do many other people as well! I mean, the only stigma I have with Asus right now is what mostly everyone is dealing with right now... the Windows 7 upgrade cd. Other than that, Asus pops out great performers in regard to their laptops especially the gaming ones ;)! Even the more affordable of their laptops like the Best Buy ones are excellent value for you money, performance price ratio is fantastic!

Agreed! My first laptop and no regrets with this brand. Great price for performance. Couple of gripes but I won't post them here since this is a more positive thread ;) A fantastic portable multi-media machine!! Asus please make an 18.4" version with the same kb and handrest design with even more powerful hardware and I'm in!! ps and a sub-woofer :)

to be fair, the Windows 7 upgrade isn't being handled by Asus

I love Asus so much that I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant :p

Electric paddles or the ones used by, uh, people who like leather collars and fluffy handcuffs?

i wont say i'm "disjointed" in my asus' computers, just a little in the asus support department. also my viewing angles on my g71, but besides that, my g1 still trucks along and for what i payed for my g71 when i got it, nothing could touch it.

I love my U81a but lets be honest, the snaffu with the Ugrade is the supply of Driver disks. The drivers were to be handled by Asus and given to the vendor. So the delay is Asus no matter how you look at it............
