Bought an ASUS tablet in U.S. and it was defective. While in Canada for the summer was able to mail it to Canada ASUS Repair Center in North Bay, Ontario. They failed to fix it at all but sent it back anyway, over 3 weeks later.
8 days after I shipped it from Quebec via Canada Post (not during the strike), I called to check on it and they said, "Oh yeah: we just received it today. We'll start working on it today."
But bottom line is, they returned to me a computer that is still defective: won't turn on. (No, it's not me.)
Today I called because they delayed sending me the email containing the required form to send the tablet back; I asked to speak to a supervisor after 30 minutes and was told that no supervisor was available.

Yeh.....that's the good ol' ASUS support.

And so it begins. A supervisor will NEVER call you back. It took me quite a while to get asus to actually fix my laptop. The first time it went in, it went from having a bad mouse pad to upon return, not even able to turn it on.

You've got to send it in with notes beside it so teh technician can read your report, not the phone report.
ASUS support Canada failed
