Hello guys. Im thinking about buying an ASUS model but their lack of support outside the US has me thinking... Im buying the laptop in the US on august (family visit) but I live in Venezuela and with this  president here... Its hard for me if something goes wrong with the laptop. We re like insulated here, the governetment has been putting us a lot of restrinctions... this is begining to look like Cuba :(...Well I went a little bit offtopic :p....Here we have support from HP, lenovo, toshiba, dell... what would be the ASUS support like for me if I get the laptop???

BTW, Im thinking about getting the G1S model, if you know about any resembled model from any of those companies I mentioned, I know Im on the ASUS forum, but tell me plz! ;)

That is certainly an issue, it seems that there lacks a service depot in South America itself! You may really want to choose another brand unfortunately doue to your situation.
