This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    DigiTimes has a report detailing that HP has signed ASUS to supply them with notebooks which should hit shops around Xmas time. No details about how many or which models these will be though.

    Article also stated that "Asustek currently has notebook orders from Apple computer, Sony, Samsung Electronics and JVC"

    they'll likely be making the widescreen Apple iBooks that are to be announced this week too.
