Specs will be identical to the V2, other than the video card and perhaps pricing may be similiar to the V2 sans 3.5G

    I took a stab in the dark basing the V2 configuration above the A8/W3 and around the configuration of the V1..... Giving that a 120gb HDD/1gb DDR2 667/ T7200 - w/ 3.5G (which adds $400-500), we'd be looking at $2,200.

For the Vx2, we already know we're either looking at a 160gb/5400rpm perpendicular recording seagate drive as in the V1, or perhaps a 7200rpm at 100gb (even though Seagate has both 120/160gb sku'd up). It'd also likely have 2gb DDR2 667, and a T7400-7600..... along with a higher end gpu than the ATI x1450....... some 8000 series nvidia is target. Along with all the fancy stuff that goes along with the lambo models, I'd say this would be around $2,300-2,400.... If the Vx2 also gets 3.5G... I think the price shoots up to that of the current Vx1 - easy.

Granted they want to release the Vx2 with a gpu that isn't out yet, that'll be a Santa Rosa model for sure... so I can't see having that before late April, but it'll probably be later.

    I'll take mine in yellow.
Honestly, if I could somehow muster up the cash and get one of these, my life would be nearly complete.

Yeah, I want a yellow Lamborghini too, but not of the notebook variety.

The VX2 is what ASUS should have released when they came out with the VX1. The VX1 was just horrible.

So,... All this tells us nothing that we didn't already know. Cool pictures though, oh, wait. :)
