    I've looked all over the place, and I can't seem to find a review for this laptop, yet I'm sure somebody here has one.

    Can anybody point me to a review?

    Its the exact same thing as a Z71v but without the 6600 Go but with GMA900 video instead.

    I believe it has been discontinued..

    I wish Asus would continue the Z70a instead of the Z71a for those who want a 15.4 in an integrated flavor.. it just looks so much better!

    Ye we have one on hand and i cant get rid of it neither can asus or any of their distis. If it dissapeared somehow from the store i would have it pulled from the site today. This never made it anywhere near ok sales. This model sucked in sales for a few reasons.
    1. Its not as cheap as the z93a for example. They share very common features except the audio dj and als (ambient lite sensor).
    2. z93a comes with a integrated combo while the z71a offers a modular bay. Yes modular bay is nice but not on what is meant as a low end notebook. I am not paying 75$ extra just to have a modular bay.
    Conclusion if you are looking for an asus thats 15" or more go for the z93e. If you have 150$ extra over the z71a price go for the z63a and dont look anywhere else. Yes its a smaller screen but the res is the same and you will never miss the 1.3" diagonal. Conclusion? Go for the z63a. Best non gamer whitebook asus has to offer by far. About 125$ more then the z93e but only 50$ more then the z71a. For 50$ the z71a can eat donkey a$s. Go for the z63a if its in your budget.
