This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     According to ASUS notebook support in the image below shows the compatible CPUs for our G72's

    Furthermore Intel confirmed that ASUS is using a custom P43 chipset for the G72. So that means that CPUz is correct in reporting a desktop chipset on the G72GX-RBBX05. as far aas the quad core version goes i can say...


    ....maybe some quad core input... :)
