I have been trying to figure this out for a few days now and still am not sure what is exactly wrong. I am working on a ASUS-Automobili Lamborghini VX7SX and couple of things are going wrong with it.
When I first got it from my friend to fix it had the BOOTMGR Missing error. My friend wanted me to put in a new SSD in it anyways, so I put in the new one. Formatted, installed windows and thought everything was good to go.
Then shortly after that these things started happening when you restart the computer:
If I just kept restarting the computer, it would eventually boot back to windows. I figured it was something to do with the SSD. So I took out the new SSD and put it in another computer that was working. Formatted and installed windows, restarted at least 30+ times and everything seem to be working great. Put it back into the ASUS VX7SX and would still get the same errors.
- Windows failed to start (Enter or Escape)
- Freezes at the Starting Windows when the logo is fading in on black screen
- Blank black screen and have to power off the computer to get it to boot again
- A disk read error occurred press ctrl alt del (Black screen / white writing)
If anyone has any ideas on what else this could be, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

It could well be a memory issue. Try running with each stick by itself.

I did run a few different memory scans and found nothing. It has 3 sticks of ram in it, so I tried each one separately (got the same results). Think all of them could be bad?

Did you only ever put them in the first slot or did you try the others? The slot itself could be bad.
-
Yes I tried all possible combinations. At first I thought it was something to do with the memory too, but I doubt that all 3 pieces of ram can be bad and all 3 ram slots are bad. But who knows, at this point it could very well be that!

Sometimes when you install Windows on a computer then move it to another one that will cause issues. It does sound to me like a SSD problem too. Do you still have the HDD that came in it? You do a clean install of Windows onto it to see if it works fine. You probably wont be able to stand it very long though as the speed difference between it and the SSD will be pretty noticeable.
