Hi
I recently got a new 13.3'' ASUS U30JC-B1 laptop. I am having issues with the plastic casing which comes with the laptop screen.I can see gaps in the middle only at the bottom of the screen where the ASUS logo is (you can pass paper into it). I can see that there are GAPS.Is this some kind of feature or is it some defect .
I replaced my original purchase, but the replacement also has few gaps.
Wondering if this is how the lcd screen casing(plastic) has to be.

The very bottom of LCD bezels tend to be held together with double sided tape or very small tabs. If you can't gently click it into place or squeeze it back onto better contact with the tape, there's probably no easy fix.
I don't own one so I couldn't tell you if this is a common 'feature' of the U30Jc. -
thanks a lot..the gaps are not that big..its like less then a inch at couple of places...its only 3 days old...and i can return it if needed...wanted to know if this is some manufacturing defect or some thing else...i already replaced one which had the same issue..
