If you want ATI drivers have you checked their site? They aren't hard to find.

yes, i have checked their site.. but the description stated "ATI Graphics Driver ATI Graphics Driver for WinXP" and it does not say anything about Catalyst 6.8. I want to find the Catalyst 6.8 because i am planning to install Linux in the W3J and it said that it has a good Linux Support that i have read somewhere while browsing the net.

Please correct me if I am wrong with the infos.

You can't get them by browsing through the site because you'll hit a hardware check, and Asus isn't on thier list. But, you can go directly to the driver d/l - http://www.ati.com/online/mobilecatalyst/

Edit - robohgedhang beat me to it while I was looking up the link.

Hi noob, in ATI's site it's not so easy to get the Cat driver for notebooks. "Easy" is for desktop Cat driver. For notebooks, just click the link I and lmychajluk provided above.

Hi lee (lmchajluk?), I see in your sig that you have 160GB 5400 rpm HD, is it the Seagate Momentus 5400.3?

There was a link for cat 6.8 in the gaming forum that i went to and it was the same page as if you went to download & support > winxp > radeon catalyst. Why do ATI not mention these drivers on their site?

Those sound like the desktop drivers. I wouldn't use them...
