Hello!
I bought an Asus K55V today and when I started it I got the message "You have to install ATK0100 driver". It pops every time I start it. So, where do I find this driver? I have no experience whatsoever when it comes to computers, so I don't know what a driver is and I don't know if it's important or not. But it pops up every time I start the computer and it's a annoying. If there's anyone in here who's got the answer, I would be very grateful.

I also get this message when I start: "This program can only be executed on the Asus computer" P4G.
Is there something wrong with my new laptop? -
I think that means you need the ATK package driver. P4G is Power4Gear. You can download the latest ATK package by going here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download ATK_package
Just select your OS from the menu, then open the utilities section and download the latest version of "ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities" by clicking on Global. Then when the download is complete, extract the files and run setup.exe
Hopefully that solves both of the issues that you're having.lacagal_3446 likes this. -

Hey Jack,
Have you tried re-downloading the ATK package? You could have a bad download; it happens from time to time.
