    Hey Guys,

I decided to reinstall my notebook from scratch and installed without any drivers and additonal software.

So at the asus site there is only the proset 8.. so I used the version 10 from intel but with atk0100 I found at the asus site there is the error "unable to lad intel sebring api ...". This was with version ATK0100_041229. So I tried version ATK0100_051102. But after succesflluy loading the driver HControl.exe crahes everytime it is started..

What version of ATK0100 i can use? An where do I get it?
I can remember when i swtich from proset 8 to 9 that o downloaded a new atk from anywhere in the net but I don't find anything.

    Thanks in advance!

    SirSydom

You can't use the new PROset driver with any version of ATK0100...
you'll have to use an older version of ProSet to get everything working properly.

It's probably ideal to use the wireless LAN drivers that ASUS provides on their website.
It may not be the most updated version of Proset, but it'll work.

Thats the problem, this will not work.
After installing some hotfix or other update coming per windows update i had always crashes. After I sended a report to microsoft there was the solution to install a newer version of proset.
I did this, and I got the "unable to load.." failuer. I googled, insatlled some other ATK and it worked perfect. This was with proset v9.

So I KNOW there is a ATK version working with proset 9 and my machine. I just didn't know what version this was.

To provide (only) a version not supported by a up-to-date OS, and taking about 1800$ for the notebook is a unbounded cheek!
