hi,
I have an ASUS M6V notebook. I love the recovery system on it. There is a hidden partition in drive c called RECOVERY and 1.86 GB size. While rebooting I press F9 and a dos menu appears asking me to select an option. Maybe most of you know this system.
The main issue is that I want to use this system in my desktop pc. I created image by using norton ghost 14 and created a hidden partition. I copied the image to the hidden partition. But the last step is to create a menu in boot process.
Anyone knows how to create a menu like in notebook? (During boot process, I will hit a key like F9 and a dos menu will appear. When I select the option it will access the image in the hidden partition and reload the image file.).
Thx for all help.

There are most likely third party solutions to this. Most likely there is a linux distribution that will do it exactly what you want.

I've never used norton ghost, but i do know acronis true image can do the task without any problems.
