Can someone link me to the site where I can activate my global warranty for my notebook? I'd rather do it online than send it in the mail. Also, what info will I need? Thanks

The 2 year warrany does not require activation. They cover regardless... However, if you want the Accidental Damage you MUST mail in the card and your invoice within 60 days.

This has already been confirmed that nothing you fill out online will activate that warranty as they require the physical card. You can call and ask and they will tell you the same thing.

I was in the same boat.

So I assume this would also apply if I sold my laptop? They would not have to do anything to get the 2 year warranty, and would only need to send in the card for the 1 year accidental damage coverage?

Correct. The 2 year warranty is automatic and no registration is required for it. The only thing that requires a user to do anything is the Accident warranty. You only get 60 days from original purchase to get the card in also... And the Accidental warranty is not transferable I think?

I kept putting it off to the point where I had 1 day left before the two months were up :D
