hey guys, wich driver for the 8600m GT do you thinks as the best, actualy?
i downloaded the last one from laptop2go (169.09) and had problems with Windows Aero, so I remove them!
WIch one do you recomend? I heard that the 167 are the best?

I use 167.58 for Vista x64. You can get them from laptopvideo2go, and you don't even need to use the modified inf to make them work with your G1S - they are an Asus release (do note that you will have more resolutions open to you in the Nvidia control panel if you do use the modified inf).

So far I have had no issues with them (I too had lots of problem with Aero stuttering with the 169 releases). I've been too busy to game much recently, but from the little gaming I've done (e.g., Portal), they seem to work fine.

I recommend 173.80, seems to significantly reduce the 8600M GT stutter problems. Possibly something to do with the fact that the card seems to run a few C cooler with this release.
