    Hello all.

I am looking for a utility that will let me view the temps of my ASUS W3J that ISNT a program that will take over my taskbar etc, basically somthing i can just open to view temps then close or what not. I ALSO am looking for somthing that will let me adjust the fan settings on my machine (RivaTuner does this ive heard, confirm?) Anyways, any advice would be helpful. I have tried NHC but, like i mentioned above, i DONT want somthing that over runs the taskbar, simply somthing i can open, check, and close.

Thanks guys, as always any info is appreciated!

i8kfangui is a good one. Its a simple program and is very customizeable when open and quiet when its not. takes 4mb ram when its running.

Aida is a very good program.
It shows everything about your computer, temperature, rpm (in fan), memory, etc, etc.... :D

    ASUS' own NVProbe works great.

Ugh.. can't find the link.. I'll check my PM's, it's in one of them and will post the link when I find it.. if I can't, I can send it to you...

    ps.. found it: ftp://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/A6U/Probe_XP_050801.zip
It's for A6U, but should work for any models.. ****.. ASUS should really make their support site easier to use..
