    Advent 7027 laptop

    My laptop used to work fine all of a sudden after the warranty has run out the laptop keeps on shutting itself down. The fan is not overheating and the air ventilations have the required space,what can it be? it usually shuts down when im playing music or videos and when running norton antivirus scan.

    first of all, get rid of norton and use a better / less ram intensive antivirus....

    I'd take a look at your RAM, it certainly sounds like it could be the problem. Thats always the best place to look after you make sure your software isn't to blame.
