Folker_92, Please refrain from making such useless comments. Its not helping anyone.

    Daless,

-Try taking out your battery pack and unplugging the AC power

-Hold the power button for 30 seconds or more

-Now try starting up again with only the AC power

There are other steps that can be taken, seeTips and Tricks in my signature, 'What to do if my notebook doesn't POST'.

    Although, it's usually a dead motherboard... :(

If it is only two weeks old, you might be able to get a replacement from the retailer where you bought it from, which might be a lot quicker than going through ASUS repair centre. Might be a good idea to check with them first

I had the exact same problem with my A6R and did all of the above steps with no success. Believe it or not, the fault was that the power button not responding. I had to press it hard and the notebook just worked! You might want to try that first before contacting asus..

Yeah i pressed it hard, still no success, i sent it back to asus today (courier was really quick), as it would take just as long if not more to go through the mob i bought it off as they are in sydney NSW, im in southport QLD. Repair centre is in brisbane so its only an hour away. Hope it doesn't take that long. Sick of my old p4 already... lol
