Alright, I'm almost totally fed-up with my G50's keyboard. What's the most recent fix?

I love everything about it, albeit it's slightly bulky for what I'm using it for. That's my fault though.

However, the keyboard constantly dropping strokes is driving me insane.
I tried to Intel Matrix registry edit fix, and I can't tell if that helped or not, I still have serious trouble typing on it but not on any other keyboard or laptops.

ARGHHH, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, sorry if this gets asked a lot.

Well....I think that actually may be user error.....some people who have found that they aren't getting all of the keys registering just haven't been pressing the keys with enough force.

Try holding down a key in notepad, if you're having the lag/dropped key issue it should be apparent.

no, it's an actual keyboard issue. at first I thought it was me, then i tested it out, purposely tracking the keys I hit... and a few didn't register.

it's been mentioned before, if you're willing to give up the touchpad, disable it through BIOS. Once you do, the keyboard will stop missing keystrokes.

hhhhmmmm and here I just thought it was my crappy typing... I never use the track pad I'll try disabling it in the BIOS and see if my typing improves!

It is a driver issue, specifically the fix is an updated ATK hotkey driver in combination with an updated BIOS. If you still experience this problem there is the intel matrix storage manager registry tweak. I also wrote a script that fixed the lag for some people BEFORE the fix came out, but you can use it if for some reason you still have the lag (which should not be the case). Just see the G50 owner's thread, first post has the link to the G50V keyboard issue thread.

Well I completely forgot I made this topic, and just got back to it through google, go figure.
Anyway, I found a bunch of your other posts that led me to that solution, which has been working fine for me so far, thanks for the work you guys do.
