    Hello,
I have been having this weird issue involving my USB ports (specially with the 2 USB ports next to the each other, on the right side of the laptop). I have a Saitek X-52 controller, and had it running great until a few days ago. In at least one occurence before the controller stopped responding, I had a USB not recognized issue. The USB port did not work until I completly shutdown the computer, a restart did not work. I quickly realized that it happened with ANY usb device, when connected at the same time (on the right side). It usually fails to recognize one USB port. Now, it just so happened that my Saitek X-52 got completely screwed  . The Y-axis does not respond at all. Everything else works. I'm waiting for an RMA number, as I write this. Could it be that the USB port caused this? I've done the GTS bios flash, so I was thinking that might have been the issue, since it requires more juice to run. Any input would be much appreciated. I've tried the controller on a different computer (fresh driver reinstall, etc), but it comes out with the same issue. So, all in all I'm really dissapointed that I had to lose a controller due to this. I might flash back to the original speeds once I get my controller repaired/replaced.
    Thank you

You should flash the bios back before sending it in if you plan on something being covered by warranty....

You could try perform a system restore (back to a few days ago or when your USB ports were still working properly).
