Is their any CPU undervolt programs that are not required to be actually running to be in use?
I know this may not be possible but was not sure if something can just modify the reg or something.
I just hate to keep adding more and more programs required to run. Its going to make me go spend some bucks on more RAM than and 4x2 aint cheap for ddr2 800 lol
Thx

It's not a registry setting, but if you create the shortcut and then drop it in your startup folder, it will run when you start the machine. -
Be aware that undervolting with current CPUs only helps with full-load temperature (since the lowest-multiplier voltage cannot be lowered from its default value). So, if you don't care about that, you are better off just sticking with the default Windows power profiles.

EBE, I'm 99% sure that you're incorrect. I have a P8400 (a current CPU), and I undervolted the lowest multiplier (FID 6X) from 1.00v to .9250v.
It's true that .9250v is a locked hardware limit, so I can't go any lower even if it could handle it, but the difference between 1.0 and .92 is still very noticeable. -
Hmm. Yeah when making the statement I assumed the .925 or .95 (don't remember which now) was the actual voltage that new CPUs run at at their lowest multiplier. Of course, that may not be the case as you point out.
Any CPU undervolt program not required to run?
