    Any Other Name For Asus S96s

    ASUS does not list their S96S laptop under their notebook category. Is there another name for this laptop ?

    Try looking for the Z96s? and also it looks like the S96s was a barebones laptop.

    No, both the Z96 and S96 were barebone versions of the exact same thing.

    S96 was the Verified By Intel version, Z96 was the Built On Asus version; both were sold exclusively by resellers at the time. The former was administered (drivers and all) by Intel on their website, back when it was still around -- that model has been EOLife for well over 2 years now.


    Check Asus for Z96 and see what you stumble upon, else go snooping around Intel for the S96 pages. But, the VBI program has also been deceased for a couple of years (it never caught on) so Intel might have deleted all the support pages.
