I was just wondering if anyone has replaced the ram under the keyboard yet.

If anyone has, was it difficult? Or is it the usual "pry upper keyboard faceplate off with guitar pick, unscrew keyboard, and swap ram" ?

Changing ram in the W3J is rather easy. one stick is under it just the other is under the keyboard. Just remove two keyboard screws on the bottom. Use a small screwdriver to hit alittle thing in the keyboard and pry off takes less than 5 minutes.
this guide should work for that

Interesting...so no faceplate removal required, eh? That's cool though, I've never heard of keyboard screws being on the bottom of a laptop before.

for the stick on the bottom you remove a few scews. then there are two scews on the bottom that unlock the keyboard. then a little click on the keyboad itsself. the guide will show you. that guide is for the w3v and z63a which should be the same as w3j.

I guess I'll have to see it in person tomorrow to see what these 3 keyboard latches on top are all about.

But hey, I really apreciate it, thanks a lot.
