Any W3J users get Vista running problem-free yet?

I can't believe ASUS would release drivers that don't even work. I can handle not being able to control speaker volume with the control keys, but when crappy drivers cause the system fan to STOP running when the system is blazing hot, that pisses me off.
Has anyone had any luck with getting the W3J to run Vista the way it's supposed to? I installed all the drivers from ASUS's W3J driver page and still have these problems.
I'm almost considering selling this just to get a laptop that doesn't get skin-burn hot and can run Vista. (any takers? lol)

What do you mean? I use Vista Ultimate in my W3J with all drivers provided by ASUS, and the speaker volume control keys work OK, and I don't notice the system fan stop running when the system is hot.

Are you sure it's not your W3J's hardware?

I run in Vista on my W3j and have very few/minor problems. The only thing I have that doesn't work right is that I can't have the screen dim automatically when I switch to battery. I am guessing that you don't have one of the ATK drivers installed right or you have a hardware issue.
