I see several builders offer the n70sv with 8gb's ram. In the bios there appears to be no options to adjust for volts or timing. Has any one increased the ram config with the stock settings and are running stable???? With the vid card using a gig of ram, I would really like to add more.

I'd also like to know if anyone has ideas on this. I upgraded to the 206 bios and still no luck. Mine only sees 3gb of the 6gb i have installed (1x2gb + 1x4gb), I think the video card is stealing a gigabyte and I can't seem to do anything about it.

Does anyone know of utilities that can force an appropriate memory remapping?

Stupid question: Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit Vista?

^ I'm running 64 bit. Any ideas on forcing remapping? Maybe a third party bios?

I'd like to see a link to those sellers the op mentioned. I think 4gb is a limit of the chipset SiS 671DX+968 :(
